Fresh off her highly buzz-worthy tour with electro-pop band The Postal Service, New Orleans phenom Big Freedia is excited to announce her new EP The Queen of Bounce will be released October 2 on Queen Diva Music/Beat Exchange. The six track disc will include the single “Booty Whop” (released last year) and 5 additional brand new cuts. Produced by regular collaborator BlaqNmilD, the project will coincide with her television show, “Big Freedia: Queen of Bounce” which debuts the same day on Fuse TV.
“‘Queen of Bounce’ has a little of everything,” explains Big Freedia of what fans can expect musically from her third release. “I call it Bounce-tronic–I was inspired by electronic, bounce, hip-hop, and even some punk rock.
